Abstract
This Recommendation specifies knowledge management for autonomous networks. It expands on the Knowledge Base subsystem specified in [ITU-T Y.3061]. Knowledge management for autonomous networks involves leveraging heterogeneous data to acquire knowledge, and enables network autonomy through knowledge processing and knowledge lifecycle management. It can shorten the processing response time of network tasks, and help autonomous networks realize the goals of exploratory evolution, real-time responsive online experimentation and dynamic adaptation [ITU-T Y.3061].
This recommendation has now been approved by the ITU-T Study Group 13’s Question 20. This document was originally an output of the Focus Group on Autonomous Networks, where the names listed are the editors/contacts for this document.
